You will need statements - although you should be able to submit a claim with the information provided on the agreement.

Subject Access Request to Direct Auto, then complete a spread sheet which we can provide you with - download complaint form from the FOS website.. Copy both and send originals off to the company asking for your money back :)

You can find a draft Subject Access Request in our CAG library - green tab at the top left of the screen.

just as I read your reply a box came up saying a 6 year time limit from realising you were mis sold , I cant find direct auto finance anywhere so struggling already , duh hahaha

Yes, there are a lot of those auto links which provide information. If you have only just realised you were mis sold the PPI then you have 6 years from now :)

Perhaps one of the other caggers will know if Direct Auto have changed their name.

no time limit on PPI reclaims - believe it is six years from when you first became aware. Lots of claims on here, including myself over the six year period.

Direct Auto Finance might be a tough nut to crack.

and the total to pay was £8477. 76.

..made up of gap insurance, shortfall, and ppi..

looks like it

GAP, PPI, Shortfall can all be lumped as one

and treated as a PPI reclaim.

you'd need the pay off figure too

as a % of that would have been that lot too
