you and Bazza are actually quite amusing. Both seem to have an insatiable appetite for Wile E Coyote moments.

Look you've already accused me of being a fare dodger and I've let it slide.

I'm not the OP. I wasn't the one who forgot their railcard. I don't even own a railcard and probably don't qualify for one.

Please make sure you understand that last bit before the inevitable comeback.

Can i ask why you are doing this ?

Surely mere is what a forum is all about, people that know about a subject, and are wiling to spend time helping others

Im not saying that he was/was not correct in all of his advice, that's for people asking for advice to weigh up and decide on

but a Site team member, and Classic Account Holder should be encouraging people like that, not attacking them

Without new people like mere coming along, forums eventually die

Tell that to the person who brought magistrates into the conversation.

Who? The draughtsman for the RRA 1889 - they are long dead.

"Who brought magistrates into the conversation" : these are summary only offenses. Hence Magistrate or Stipendary Magistrate (now known as District Judges....)

Don't you think you and Bazza are getting rather hysterical about this. You both seem to have the same operandi too ...

As for my "M.O." : that reply is typical of a troll.

Hence my reply being shorter than usual.

Folks, if it looks like a troll, try to keep your reply shorter than their's so they only get "diminishing returns"

(Which mere mentioned : looks like they've been researching my posts as it is a point I've made previously) : thanks for the quote, mere.

Byee, mere.

Except that mere's responses are so far from correct, and so unsupported when challenged, that they don't know about the subject, and don't help others .

New people who don't appear troll-like : agreed.

New people "like mere" will contribute to the demise of a forum by it moving from reasoned discussion to contradiction.
