Hi - I wonder if anyone of you could help.

I relocated to the UK about two years ago and my brother moved back to Italy from UK leaving me his van

and my details on that small green DVLA paper.

I did not transfer that van into my name and a year and half later sold it to someone.

Now i received summon from DVLA that I failed to notify them of change of name with potential £1000 + £90 fine.

What to do?????? please help.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

The guy i sold it to, took care of it and directly transferred to his name so

the van was never in my name

and that is what dvla guys are on about

that i did not notify that i had the vehicle in my posession for this time n all.

yes please and somehow they now say that you never infomred that you were in possession of the vehicle for last a year and half. Its honestly a genuine mistake and I drove it, had insurance on it and everything perfectly fine until i sold it.
