shows political reasons been king again.

 

The working age population account for half of the DLA budget but of course were targeted as doing anything to pensioners is throwing an election away.

 

In 2012-13 the Department spent £13.7 billion on Disability Living Allowance for 3.3 million claimants. It estimates that working-age claimants account for £7 billion
