Hello there,

First let me tell you that it was never the intention of CAG to have adverts at all. It was a decision that was forced upon us due to the mounting costs of running the forum. We used to receive enough in donations - but that slowed down as the amounts folks were recieving in bank charges etc. waned.

To answer your question, I understand that the ads are generated randonly - based around a few key areas that are relevant to CAG. We absolutely do not endorse any of those adverts - and in fact they are more often than not exactly the kind of firms that we all should be incredibly wary of.

Hope this answers the question.

- Seq.

Just to add ...if you are not already aware...adchoices (Google)is mainly triggered from the history of your browsing also and will record anything you have viewed and select an appropriate add which may be of interest to you.

You can control the content to certain degree by clicking the blue chevron next to the blue cross this opens adsense which allows you a certain control of what appears.

Regards

Andy
