Credit Card charges

Can anyone tell me how far back I can go with claiming for unfair charges on my credit cards, is it only 6 years or can I go back from when I took out the credit card?

You can claim back charges has fair back has ye want.

You can make a SAR request yes it's £10, you can get all the letters you will need and a spread sheet to work out the interest they have to pay you in the library at the top of the page. By the way is there any ppi .

Already sorted out the PPI claims but was hoping to raise funds by claiming late payment charges.

If you are going back further than six years then there is a higher probability that you will need to go to court and they will argue that they are statute barred.

 

You will need to be able to get round this by using S32(1)© Limitations Act.

 

There is a process which should be followed, a path which has been successfully used by others in the past.

 

First stop, get a SAR off for all the data you can get on the account although the lender may well baulk at giving you any data that is more than six years old.
