I have a county court judgement which I am paying £25 a month.

I have missed one payment but next month can make up the payment i want to start paying £50 a month thereafter to try and pay the debt off quicker.

What can I do ?

Have tried to find out online but all I am reading about is baillifs was repossessed in 2010 can't go through that again.

If you want to vary payments then apply for a Variation Order using Form N245 available from HMCTS website. There is nothing to stop keeping payment at the present rate & paying extra, that way if you have a lean month then it isn't as much to find. Have they been OK with the payment you have missed?

Why not just speak to the claimant and explain the missed payment and that you will be making it up shortly...as for altering the actual judgement payment it would be wise to follow Plodders advice in post#2.

Regards

Andy
