Recently Wetcloths have been trying to collect on a old Mint Card. I sent in a CCA request and this is there reply.

 

My question to refresh my memory is, Should they not have passed it on, what should I reply back to these muppets ????

 

As ever I await my learned friends advice.

if they want money from you

 

they supply the cca

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

If they dont own the debt, ignore them.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

So you sent a CCA request to Wetcloths with the statutory £1.00 fee ?

 

They now want you to send the request elsewhere enclosing another fee ?

 

Have they returned your original £1.00 ?

Whoever is chasing you, even if they only act on behalf of the OC should hold the relevant and compliant CCA. The fact they they refunded you, says to be that they havent got one and have no intentions of looking.

Thanks Guys just as I thought. I have sent it back to them with the £1.00 PO and told them it is there responsibility. And yes Citizen B they did return the money. Thanks again.

Ok, I re-sent them the CCA request and a letter telling them they had a duty to pass on the request and today I find the same mantra letter from Wetcloths. What a bunch of Muppetts, this account is now in dispute as the request was made in August.

 

The request was made with the template letter, there was the correct fee as you can see at the bottom of the letter. What are these idiots trying to prove. Should I now just ignore and tell them to bog off if I have anymore requests from these dicks or is Boo around to give me one of his charming polemics, now that would be good.

 

Again dear friends, await your advice.

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc using paint program

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

goto one of the many free online pdf converter websites ...

if you have multiple scans/pics

put them in a word doc FIRST and convert that to PDF

or use www.pdfmerge.com

 

convert existing PC files to PDF [office has an installable print to PDF option]

..

 

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

.

or if you have PDF as an installed printer drive use that

or use word and save as pdf

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

though dont use full bank names or CAG in the title

i'e Default notice dd-mm-yyyy TSB

.

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

.

What are these pompous idiots on - the chances of RBS being able to comply with your CCA request within 14 days is slim to zero.

 

Make your request to RBS and should Westcott write to you whilst you are waiting, advise them to contact "their clients" and tell them to get their finger out and comply with the request !

 

I don't think you need respond to their letter above... sheesh.. !
