Hi there I am new

I have 2 current accounts with Lloyd s 1 of which I don't really use and the other I use all the time.

I have recently been made redundant, but have found another job

all i am waiting for to start my new job is my criminal record check which as of yet hasnt come back.

I have a loan out with lloyds tsb of which i pay 60 pounds a month to,

I rang them earlier this week and told them the situation baring in mind in a year i have NEVER missed one payment of this loan

she said that there was nothing they could do and i was 'declined' a repayment holiday and all she could was change the date it is due to go out in october,

i said ok fine change it so she did to the 28th of October,

i could still be out of work then for all i know but i suspected i wasnt getting anywhere so left it at that!.

my old account that I have open just for my loan to go out of is 60 pounds overdrawn and i will be charged 6 pound for it being overdrawn

and 10 pound on top of that for the amount it is overdrawn and then 5 pound for everyday it is. LOVELY.

Then the new account,

I am overdrawn a whopping 115 pounds,

26 is bank charges,

I AM BEING CHARGED FOR THE BANK OVERDRAWING ME!!,

70 pounds is Vanquis who have taken that payment with absolutely no authourisation whatsoever

but apparently the bank cannot recall it which is fantastic. And the rest is Credit Expert,

which are taking 15 pounds every month after i have cancelled my membership with them and again the bank cant do anything about that.

I am such a pickle because I have absolutely no income coming in,

I cant sign on because i have a job!

i cant get another job because i have a job!!

and even if i did i would have to go through the criminal record check AGAIN

which would take even longer,

and the bank are refusing to help me

i am 200 odd pound overdrawn and no one can help me???

any replies are appreciated thank you.:???:

get out of Lloyds

pay any money you have into a new online co-op account

you have too many eggs in the same basket.

Lloyds a re famous for doing this.

as for credit expert send them a snotty email detailing that you cancelled on the DD/MM/YYYY and you want your money back

if vanquish did not write you a letter or send a bill to tell you that money was being taken

then get it back under the DD guarantee from Lloyds.

you need to take control of your finances

not let Lloyds do it for you.

Once again Lloyds being the pain they can be.

I agree a change of banks is best, at least you can be clear about where you stand :-)

We could do with some help from you.

Hi Guys

Meg&mog here I am emilychars mum :)

Thanks for all your replies we have had a really terrible day trying to get this sorted but there is light at the end of the tunnel

We set off this morning called into job centre explained the situation with emilychars job

and they said there was nothing she could claim because she would not be actively seeking work as she has a job

so off to Lloyds we went

That was a nightmare we were met by a gentleman took into a room

we explained the whole sorry situation regarding both accounts and he said we had to go home and telephone the "customer support unit"

there was nothing he could or would do

he told us the fees she is overdrawn on now are from june and july since she was still working at that time

they are payable and they will not remove them...

...annoyed wasn't the word as for the bank loan we had to speak to the support unit

and then telephone the loan people and ask for a repayment holiday

we explained she had been declined and he said that is wrong so try again not very helpful at all

I had the bcobs up on my phone I was quoting sections of it to him he was just shaking his head and disagreeing it was awful

So we went to co operative bank and applied for a cash minder account she should hear in 5 to 7 days

We got home got straight on the phone rang and finally got through to LLoyds customer support unit

explained the situation to a man who wasn't too bad to be fair

he agreed to stop all charges nothing more will be added but

when she receives her first pay when she finally gets to work she has to ring Lloyds immediately

and pay the £55 odd pounds one account is overdrawn

and transfer the £58 odd pounds to the other over drawn account

we then explained about the bank loan he said he couldn't deal with that we had to talk to loan department

Heres where the fun began

got through to loan dept was told there was nothing they could do

we explained bloke in branch said she could have a repayment holiday

she said the only way she could have a repayment holiday was to pay 2 months payments

and a £20 odd pound interest fee then they MAY allow a repayment holiday :-0

we were on the phone 92 mins being transferred from customer support unit back to loan people

with them both saying we needed to talk to the other

during all this they told her and gave her the number to contact step change debt councelling

which she did amazing people within 30 mins they had sorted her budget

told her not to worry eased her anxiety and gave her hope for repaying all that she owes

We are astounded about how Lloyds have treated us

can someone please help me make a complaint

I want to take this as far as I can it really was appauling

also I would like to make a complaint about ebay anyone point me in that direction?

Thanks again for all your help guys keep it coming :)
