Sorry, it's not all that clear what you're asking.

 

When on ESA or JSA you receive NI credits and these count towards your State Pension. Is that what you meant?

Right, well it's not possible to be on both ESA and JSA at the same time, unless you have a partner. So, for example, if your partner is on income based JSA, your contribution based ESA could be paid but would reduce his or her JSA award.

 

Have you been on ESA conts for more than 365 days? And are you in the Work Related Activity Group?

 

Anyhow, as a general rule if your NI contributions have exhausted, the only way to requalify is to pay contributions through employment.
