Hello,

Looking for some advice please on my MBNA CC PPI claim.

Received my SAR information back it is really hard to identify whether I had PPI or not and the covering letter doesn't confirm either way.

I have found amongst the pages a part that states Payment protection: 0.

Do I assume that this means no PPI was applied as the statement entries say for example:

Payment direct debit - Thank you £75

Finance charge - £0.25

Finanace charge - £1.90

Finanace charge - £16.57

This is detailed on all entries but dont understand if this is just interest or PPI applied also.

On the credit agreement there is a box detailing MBNA Payment protection insurance, however the writing is so small I cant make anything out?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

The items you detail in your post will be interest.

If there is no PPI showing on the statements as a separate charge then you haven't been paying PPI on the account.

It might be worth checking ALL of the statements though because it has not been unknown for PPI to have been added at some stage during the life of the account without the account holder knowing.
