Hi

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place

but I would like to hear from anybody who has had any dealings with RBS Mint cards.

I've just had a verbal run with an induvidual who thought my statements about fraudulant application of charges to my account a great joke and actually laughed down the phone at me.

In frustration I hung up but I would appreciate some advice and support as to where to go to next.

Many Thanks

Mike

There's no point ringing them, do everything in writing. I think there is a Mint card forum in the Banking Section, hang on...

Yes, it comes under the RBS section. Have a read of peoples' threads in that section, it'll give you an idea of how Mint will react to a refund request.

Hi mikesmotor, yes i had that too, it is best to do it in writing to their head office which is RBS (Edinburgh)!

Right, sorry, I wasn't sure if you meant that s/one had made fraudulent purchases on your card.

In that case, I'll move your thread to the RBS forum, where you'll be with people with their own experiences of Mint, as you're in general consumer issues at the moment. :-)

I have an RBS credit card that I'm paying a set ammount off each month.

due to an error on my part last months didn't reach them.

They sent me the usual statement but I've just received a threatening letter from this Triton crowd

who I have discoveres is an internal arm of Natwest.

For their cheek I think I'm going to evoke the CCA 1974 rules and ask for a copy the credit agreement and see what does.

Trouble is those Triton letters are just

automatically chucked out at the slightest

error.

CCA is a good idea.

I recently have had issues with an organisation called Triton Credit who,

having failed to to comply with my CCA requst have passed it on to DLC.

I have done some research into them and it seems to be a very complicated organisation based in Brackley in Northants.

An organisation called Hillesden Securites appears to be a parent company but, and most strangely,

DLC claims to be part of the Faccenda Group also based in brackley who are poultry producers.

Has anybody any experience of DLC, I would be interested to know.

Regards

Mike

I wholly and utterly resent the implication that i'm on a phishing trip.

After recent incidents on this web site i have come to the conclusion that you lot are a bigger bunch of wasters than the credit colletion agencies.

Don't bother posting anything further because it will be just a waste of time, space and effort

Phishing trip (list) - DCA do not know if you are the person they are trying to trace, so they send letters out to as many people with the same name in the hope the person they are trying to trace contacts them, = A Phishing Trip.

Not you personaly

I've got a dispute running with RBS who sent it to Triton Credit.

I sent them a CCA s 74 request and thus far they haven't sent the correct documents.

This has now been sent on to Moorcroft Debt Recovery.

I sent the standard letter saying it should be returned to Triton but I've received a letter saying that RBS would like more details of the dispute in question!

Should I write back to Moorcroft or should I just let it stew,

any opinions would be welcome as long as they are reasonable.

Thanks

Mike

Was it Moorcroft that told you RBS would like more details of the dispute in question ?

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

Yes and seems strange as Moorcroft were the ones who contacted me by letter regarding the one and only dispute in question.

I suspect that this is because the documents sent by RBS are questionable at best regarding their genuineness (if there is such a word) and their validity.

Incidentally, this has been passed to a couple of other debt collectors in between times who have been sent the standard reply letters.

Things with RBS have recently got a little complicated involving a document that they sent to me claiming to be a credit agreement for the credit card in dispute.

This document is clearly an altered application form that they tried to make look like an agreement.

I requested from DLC a copy of the original application form in order to clarify this matter,

this has, so far, been conspicuous by its absence and

I suggest that this is the reason for the matter to have been sent to Moorcroft

and their somewhat unusual reply to my letter telling them that this needs to be returned to Triton.

This is a bit long winded but summarizes the situation, I think!
