Hi

Tried in vain to get FGA address (192.com, post office address finder, linkedIn etc). When I phoned FGA directly (recorded message) I was re-directed to CodeRed Collections.

I have tracked down that our agreement is with Alfa Romeo Financial Services on behalf of FGA Finance - with an address in Slough. I will send my letter here.

Do you think I should also send copy to P.O. Box (with named individual from collections dept ?). Post Office say I can send to PO Box but FGA may simply 'return to sender'

Thanks

Probably a good idea to send to both addresses. Suspect the Slough address is head office and may be where collections department is.

  • 1 month later...

Please help.

I have a car which I purchased on HP. HP Agreement started in April 2009 and I have made all payments to date except for Sept & October HP payments each of 524.42.

In December 2010, I was taken to court for arrears and agreed to repay back the monthly HP plus £100 towards the arrears.

I have not missed any payments since the above two.

I only have 7 payments left on a 48 x monthly payment contract so in theory I have paid more than 1/3 of the entire HP agreement.

I am concerned as I am now in default of the court order from Dec 2010.

Can the HP company repossess the car without a court order?

Hi There

Our letter to FGA was acknowledged and eventually Code Red stopped phoning and making contact - this after I told them their behaviour now amounted to harrassment and I was recording their calls!

We are now inundated with hourly calls from 'Bluestone Credit Management' and they are also phoning my partner at work. Yesterday a 'Field Agent' called to the house on behalf of Bluestone (I didnt answer) and left a card threatening further visits to our address. He looked very intimidating and I wouldnt have answered the door regardless of who he was.

Please help - should we now use our 'legal template letter' and write to them?

Thanks
