Will having the council tax on my name improve my credit rating?

Will having bills on my name improve it?

Is there anything else I can do please?

I am on the electoral roll and have a first direct cc which I am paying off by DD, and also have a virgin mobile contract, so far. Plus a current account from the COOP bank. (cash minder)

Many thanks

Mariann

Afraid not council tax accounts are not reported to CRAs as a routine,

the electoral roll is important as is a stable resiedential record.

Make sure you keep credit apps to no more than 1-2 per year if needed.

Credit ''scores'' are intended as a day to day tool for a personal to monitor

there credit accounts, they do play a roll in the assessment of credit worthiness

up to a point, all lenders have their own unique systems for assessing applications.

Avoid late or missed payments make sure you cc account is always up to date,

some utility providers gas/electric/water will only report if there is a problem.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.
