hi all,

hope someone sees this post. my hubby has a medical next week as he lost his licence 2009 for alcohol misuse then it was re instated 2010 for a year, he sent all the forms of from 2011 and its took nearly a year. when his licence was taken off him we did not know the blood results but now we have had bloods taken at the end of may and his gamma was 42, alt 24 and mcv 90.6 he is due to have some more taken before next week. hubby has not had a drink since may 24th so hopefully things will be ok but it is the stress that everyone suffers. thanks

Well hubby had his medical today and bloods taken. Does anyone know if the blood parameters are different for HGV. Hubby had his bloods taken last week and his ggt is 26, alt 25, mcv 90.2 and AST 20 they are all within range for the nhs but are they good enough for the dvla. worrying time ahead. could someone answer please
