Is there anyone willing to lend still? I have good recent credit (871 score on experian) but 3 disputed default accounts from over 2 years ago (credit cards), first time buyers (joint income 37K full time employed, no dependants) with 15K deposit and looking to at houses priced at 125-130K Thanks

I wouldn't recommend ANY of them involved in the adverse credit market...

I'm thinking the same, might bite the bullet and keep renting and get these defaults satisfied and try and clear them.

My wife & I have a mortgage at the moment. We are looking to move house but I have very bad credit history (payday loans etc).

According to a mortgage calculator we should be able to lend £150000.

Upon selling our house we would have about £20000 deposit.

What would be our chances of getting a mortgage given my very poor credit history?

Daz - been in your position previously and in short - not a chance. Nobody appears to be lending mortages unless you are A1 with at least 15% deposit. Its killing the market!
