Hi All

Excuse me if i sound a bit aggressive this morning, i went into London this morning at 5am and had plenty of time being a chauffeur so not in a hurry. I approached a set of lights in Wandsworth which turned red so i slowed down and stopped with my tyres on the white line so i was flashed twice whilst stationery!!!!!!! Will i still get 3 points, even though they can see the car is stationary and not moving.:-x:-x:-x:-x:-x:-x:-x

The offence is committed if any part of your car crosses the line while the light is red. If you were already stationary when the light turned red then you committed no offence. If you were still moving and stopped fractionally over the line then the offence is technically committed, though I believe that people are not generally prosecuted in such circumstances, for much the same reasons that they're not prosecuted for doing 71mph on a motorway.
