Hiya.

I booked and watched a Box Office event (Haye v Klitchko) last year (2nd July 2011).

Obviously, I assumed this was paid the following month. However, today Sky have taken 14.95 more then my usual direct debit for this event.

Ive checked my previous bills just now and although all direct debits were paid each month they hadnt charged for Box Office. So are they allowed to just take the extra without tellinge nearly a year later?

Yes, it is dependent on when your sky box gives them the info

for example to explain easily:

if you booked something tonight ( where your telephone is connected to the box) then if the box is disconnected from the telephone line Sky will not get this info until the box is reconnected to the line and completes a callback to their systems. This can also happen is there is technical fault with the box/line then it is resolved at a leter date.
