I had a current account with Santander without an agreed overdraft. I went over by approx 140 - which was made up purely of their charges ("there wasnt enough money in your account to pay XYZ so weve had to had to pay it for you and charged you the earth for the liberty")

Now I got myself in such a mess with Payday Loans, i opened a brand new account with Nationwide and switch to them. Santander are chasing me for the outstanding balance, however they are ignoring all my letters and the balance has now bumped up to £583!!! :-x

What can I do about this? Obviously I'm upset as it was all made up of charges and fees and I'm already up to my neck in debt as it is!

Do you know exactly what charges Satansbank have added?

What correspondence did they send you after you went OD?

Forget Moorsoft for the moment, check your credit file and see if this shows up on there.

How long had you been with satansbank?

What is the letter from Moorsoft purporting to do?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

I previously had a current account with Santander and quickly realised how awful they are so

I switched over to Nationwide,

while in the process of switching I had a lovely "there was not enough money in your account to pay xxxx direct debit so we've had to pay it for you"

from Santander therefore accrruing charges.

I now have Wescot chasing me for this 'debt' for over £700!!

I have sent numerous letters to Santander regarding this and I'm getting nowhere!

I am currently on a DMP which I am paying token payments towards my actual debts

but I refuse to pay for this as I don't actually owe them anything,

it's made up purely of their charges!!

Please can somebody please advise? I'm at my wits end with these clowns!

agreed

just ignore them

or hit them with a bcobs complaint

they'll never go near a court

which is why wetcloths have got it

i hope your DMP is a free one!!

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

For sure!! I sought advice from cccs but ended up doing my own DMP.

I wasn't worried about wescot - its already been to moorcroft & back :p i'm just so frustrated with santander, they're not listening to me!

Is there a template for a bcobs complaint?
