got reply from hellifax today saying

 

DEAR MR JONES

THANK YOU FOR YOUR LETTER ON THE 11TH APRIL

 

II MUST REITERATE THAT WE ARE NOT PREPARED TO REFUND ALL YOUR CHARGES AND YOU CAN REFER YOUR COMPLAINT TO THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN SERVICE,DETAILS OF HOW TO DO THIS WERE INCLUDED IN MY LAST LETTER.

PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS THIS FURTHER.

not go dpa letter back yet.

can i make claim now?or after the 26th april.HELP

If you filed your claim on MCOL before 09:00 on the 24th April then the defendants (Halifax) have 5 days before the claim is deemed to be served.

 

In your case 29th april.

 

The 14 days start from then which is 13th May.

 

If they keep to the 'schedule' they will Acknowledge the claim (gives them until 27th May to file a defence)

 

Then about 2 weeks later (13th May) they will pay.

still waiting for there defence but had letter to about another charge for £30 for going 28p over drawn.phoned them but they said they would still charge me.any advice?

Since I filed moneyclaim on April 26th, I have had another £138 worth of charges. I haven't telephoned them, but I did send a "prelim" letter requesting that they refund it. No response, so LBA - and so forth, followed by a seperate claim. I think that would probably wake them up a little, plus you get to add on the court costs too, hitting them where it hurts........

:lol: :lol: :lol: I HAVE BLOODY WELL WON.Checked bank today and it was all there.all £2745.Can not explain our happy i am to beat the hellifax.thank for everybodys help and i will still use this website to help others.going to get very drunk tonight.thanks:lol: :lol: :lol:
