hi All

I am acting on behalf of my Dad who received a call off a creditor, So as per the below thread I have advised him to CCA them all.

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?309593-Helping-my-Dad-with-MBNA-Mint-Halfords-%28MBNA%29-amp-AA

The letter has worried him a little.

Thanks All

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

IMHO i would not use a 'paperwork error' to aviod a debt.

can you explain a wee bit more of the history of the debt

does it show on his CRA file?

when was HIS last financial transaction?

what are the DCA saying?

The history behind it all is here

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...MBNA%29-amp-AA

he has never missed a payment and it is still with the OC, no DCAs involved and is still keeping up the payments as he has always done. But I am far from happy as the way he was treated when he called them,,, hence requesting the CCA

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the letter I need to send back to these explaining that they have not fulfilled the request?

Also, the letter explains that they are allowed to continue adding interest and default charges while there is no CCA and they can still record this with a credit referencing agency. Which I do not beleive they can do. Would anyone be able to clarify this please?

Many Thanks

in the library green tab top left

they are entitled to do whatever they like with the cra and int etc

as for default charges

you say there are none, so thats not an issue is it?

you really need to do some reading around and get up to speed.
