Mbs recoveries

Hello,

 

Can someone please help me - I am being chased for monies by MBS Recoveries. Money was taken out on my name by fraud and 5 years later I'im hunted down to pay the shortfall after the house was sold at auction due to repayments not made.

 

I'm in dialogue with the bank and the Ombudsman - but im still sent letters demanding payment. I told them my situation and was left alone for a while.

 

A week ago a Private Investigator turn up - he was apparently looking for me - i was still exactly where i was the previous time - same work same house.

 

Can they legally persue me if im waiting on a ruling from the bank and the ombudsman?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. As my threatening insolvency and bankrupt and i just got married and planning to buy a house in the next couple of months and would hate to compromise my future.

Next time any goon shows their face then tell them to get lost and call the police if they refuse.

If you genuinely do not owe this debt then its time to get every official authority you can think of involved including the police (not 999)

How was the money ''taken out in your name'' ?

Which bank is involved and how much money

is involved?

The loans was taken out in South Africa with Standerd Bank - the bank says i applied for the loan in person - but my passport clearly shows that im in the uk - then the loan was awarded and they purshces a house on all my documents and took the money and run - leaving the house to be repossed and sold at auction in 2009.

 

now they turn up in the UK demanding the money - as im on Uk soil i fall under Uk law? Can they persue me for monies if they case is still open at the bank and the ombudsman? As they are aksing me to pay a shortfall - when the bank has not made a decision yet? I know i didnt take out the loan - and never had the money?

 

Please let me know my right as they want to declare me bankrupt and i dont know what to do - and i dont want to pay them knowing i never applied for the loan in the first place.

Can I ask what evidence do you have that can

be used to prove that fraud has taken place?

Also what documents were shown to the bank

when the loan was taken out.

If you have any letters etc regarding this please post

them up here so we can advise more accurately, remove

all personal details and bar codes if any.
