Hi all, Sent my initial letter on 31/Aug (i already had all my statements so didnt need to request them). i have heard absolutely nothing from HSBC at all, not even an acknowledgement letter and the 14 days as stated in my letter obviously is almost at expiry now but i am wondering if my letter has even been received and therefore what i should do next? i sent my letter to -Mr David Lewis, Head of Customer RelationsLevel 368 Canada SquareLondonE14 5HQShould i start again and resend it to someone else more relevant? Many thanks in advance for any advice / help. i only have £310 to claim (it has seemed so much more over the last few months!) but i am determined to get it back. It is advisable to send your letter Recorded delivery which is only a pound and then you now they have definately received it. I personally would take it as being received and go onto the next stage of the process but remembering to send it recorded delivery this time. Of course there is always the way oflooking at it where if it came to court and they actually went to court that you would have to show sufficient evidence that you gave the bank the chance to pay up which of course you dont have for this first stage. The likelyhood of it getting to that isnt very high but a possibility so its how you want to do it really. Wether you decide to send it again and start from scratch or carry on with the process you certainly need to evidence it all. I am in my last week or so with my claim - I have filed a claim and they are defending it but throughout the whole process have not heard one word from HSBC. Even now at this late stage. I think the first I will hear from them is to send me a cheque or ask for a breakdown to enable them to issue a cheque. Strange as there seems to be no logic to how they handle each case.

Hope that helps

Sarah
