Hi guys I'm kinda new to this but I need some advice.

I was in work yesterday and a pickfords truck arrived to drop a crate off and I was told to help get it off so I did. As I was pushing the crate out with the driver the machine started to hit the shutter and I warned the driver and he said it was ok as it was flexible and as the machine went past the shutter, all of a sudden it started to drop and hit me on the head which wasn't very nice. The driver of the truck asked if I was ok and then told me that the shutter was faulty. I then got myself back together and carried on with the job and only told the management a few hours later who then sent me to the walk-in centre to get checked out.

Because the shutter was faulty and the driver admitted liabilty, does this mean I am entitled to compensation and if so what should I do?

Be very grateful for any replies thanks
