i have very good experience with my previous landlord but nfortunately my current letting agent/LL is not quite as good.

is there any place to share my experience so others may benefit?

something like a rating who is good & who isn't?

Don't know if this helps but where I live the council runs a Landlord Accredited Scheme, this is where Landlords join with the council. The council have to inspect all the houses the Landlord has and approve the houses, rent and the lease. Once approved by the council they will recommend you to tennants if the tennants need a house quickly or the council list is too long for them. Landlords can check with the council and other members of the Accredited Scheme to see if the tennant/person has ever been in rent arrers or have had any problems with.

I don't know if any other councils run this scheme but where I live there are more houses for rent by private Landlords than what the council owns in the area.

I hope that I am a good Landlord, I even had one of my tennants beg me to buy another house for her daughter to move into, she was in a council house and hated the council...
