Never before have I spoke to such rude, unreasonable people!

 

I called with my final meter reads, which first of all they tried making out I was lying and they were incorrect, which they weren't, I can read a meter, I've worked in the energy industry for years.

 

Then she asked for a payment before she could close the account (Even though I had a monthly DD set to cover consumption plus my winter bill).

 

It's been one problem after another, first of all with transposed reads, then the opening meter read being changed...

 

So, in the end, I've cancelled my Direct Debit, claimed an indemnity and the balance will be added to my DRO, the new property is with a different company LOL
