Did you not keep a paper copy for yourself? Use your branch for everything to show you deal with them in England when you claim. Send the standard SAR if you need to.

After having requested the statements from my bank on the 5th October, I finally received them today.

Ive gone through them all and found that my bank charges are actually more than I originally thought, so I'm glad Ive started again!

Do any of you have advice on which letter I should send? Do I simply start again, or is it worth sending a letter to Hilary McGuinness explaining that I have requested all statements, and have found more charges?

Thanks

Ben

As long as you have sent your letters to an address in England, assuming you are in England, send an updated LBA so they have 14 days before you do your court claim. If you have sent to Scotland start again with a preliminary letter to your branch so you can use that address for your court claim.

That's fine if they want to send it there, as long as you don't. Just send a new LBA to the branch adding that you now have full details of all charges and attach a new schedule. Once the court claim is in the legal people in Scotland will take over and you can safely correspond with them, but stick to the branch now.
