Home learning college courses are they any good?

Hi,

 

I am looking for a home learning course in Business Management as I work full time. Has anyone completed the course mentioned above with the Home Learning College?

 

The said qualification on completion is an EDI- has anyone found this certificate useful when job hunting?

 

Any feedback about the College would be welcomed i.e. quality of coursework, time to get marked course work back etc....Oh, and did it help when findng a job?

Thanks so much for your prompt response re the Learning College, now looking at the Cambridge Learning College have you ever heard of these guys?

I can't help with those ones, but I am studying through a similar method (the Open University) and absolutely loving it. The credit points indicate the amount of work involved and the level indicates the difficulty. A 60 point course for example usually lasts around 9 months and includes 16 hours of study a week.

 

Qualifications are just as recognised as one gained through conventional uni's - It has been said that some prospective employers respect OU/distance learning students more as it demonstrates self discipline and motivation.
