Thanks for your post, no it wasn't in writing but i shall post a letter tomorrow re plan.

 

That's the only way to do it iiyama ... any verbal agreement would just be denied if it came to court......

 

The amount I can afford to pay isn't a lot but its all I can afford, assume that no matter how small, if you can prove that is all you can afford the courts would support that?

Most courts are pretty lenient in this field , certainly better than the banks IMHO when it comes to working out what you can spare ..... :rolleyes:

They're not supposed to if you're trying to settle with them .... but they may anyway ,just out of spite and because the CRAs are just believing anything the banks say - and it's a devil of a job to get a Default lifted.:(

 

But , it has been done , I think Pete Castlebest managed it , and a few others on here .... so don't despair ...:) just come on and ask ....
