I'm thinking that our friends in Birmingham haven't got the

balls to take me on..... Shame...

Its a wonder you and your truck havent arrived outside their offices as I believe you did on several occasions with Robbinscum Kray

I do seem to recall a few roller blinds twitching as well!!

I also seem to remember having a conversation with one of their

friendly agents whilst stood outside the entrance to their office

and she declined to come and speak with me personally!!

Don't rule anything out!!! :D

A bit of an update....

I've had a telephone call from Birmingham Trading Standards today...

He must have taken time out to find my number too, as I didn't put

it on the letter.

If I'm honest, it's been a cr@p last week for me and I just wasn't in

the mood to have any kind of debate either Contract Law, or, the

Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008 on the 'phone!!

I've got a number and a contact name, so I'll do it tomorrow..

Whilst I'm on, I might just mention that the sums of money that

are claimed on the ticket in their 3 stages, by the size of their

increment amount to a threat designed to intimidate, and that it's

my belief that this contravenes Section 40 of the AoJA 1970.

Thoughts???

It's took them all day to prepare a response?

No!! Re-read my post...

I called the guy back, he wasn't there... I asked his colleague who

answered his extension what his colleagues 'role' was in relation to

responding to my letter with a direct 'phone call.....

He told me that he was in charge of their clamping/ticketing unit,

and that he had been at an all day meeting in relation to the same.

I said that I'ld call back tomorrow..

Clearer now ?? :p

Well I've called and had a good chat with the man from Birmingham Trading

Standards. He IS going to investigate them and has asked me for copies of

all my photo's. I recorded the whole call and there is some extremely

interesting information about our friends in Birmingham coming out of the

conversation.

Problem is... I can't seem to edit (bleep) the few personal bits in the

output file, which is a 3.1Mb WAV file...... Any idea's ??

Try a freeware editor like Audacity. Record yourself saying "sausages" and copy-and-paste that in :)
