i hand delivered my letter, stating what they owe me, to the bank handed it directly to a member of staff addressed private and confidential to the branch manager

doesnt get a reply after 14 days

i know the question might look arse backwards but it does make sense

Well, you proceed according to your timetable.

 

If they have "lost" it internally, that's not your problem. I've said this before: Turn things around. Would they accept that your dog had eaten the post as an excuse for you not to pay up? Would they give you even 1 day grace? What do you think?

 

You KNOW the letter was delivered to the bank. You're prepared to swear to it in court, and hopefully, you made a note of who you handed it to, and at what time. That's it.

 

YOU set the timetable, not them, not anymore. Enjoy. :wink:
