Hi All

Hopefully you can help me, dunno if im on the right page or not!!!!

I have a two year old hire purchase agreement with approx 9 months left to run. unfortunately this year has been a financial nightmare for us with my husband being mde bankrupt approx 2 months ago and his file is still being dealt with by official receivers, i have approx 6 months worth of arrears on the account now. I have requested a voluntary termination with welcome. They told me that it would take approx 5 weeks to process and organise an inspection and recovery of the vehicle. I today received a phone call and I quote.

"We are suspending your request for voluntary termination and are issuing a notice of default with a view to court proceedings".

Please help as I have already admitted owing them money by a written request for termination. I dont know what to do.

very concerened cagger.

send welcome a letter and say that as far as you are concerned an application to vt the vehicle has been made and you expect welcome to abide by the cca

they cant repo the vehicle with out a court order

they may try and it will cost them every penny you have paid them

hold on

you received a phone call about defaulting you and poss court action,

not in writing

that changes things

say you made a lawful request to vt the vehicle in accordence with the cca 1974 and expect welcome to expadite your request

dont believe a thing welcome tells you unless its in writing

cretins

send recorded
