Hi guys,

I have three defaults on my account. I have split them into sections below:

HSBC

In 2005 I defaulted as an 18 year old on a HSBC current account.

The amount was for £159.

I cannot remember receiving a default notice for this.

*********************

Halifax/Lowell

In 2007 I defaulted on a Halifax student bank account.

Halifax was £1,200.

I did not receive a default notice for this either.

The Halifax account has been passed over to Lowell Portfolio according to a letter I have just received, and my credit report has updated as a default made by Lowell Portfolio.

Also in 2007 I defaulted on my Capital One credit card due to charges.

The amount was £1,099. My credit limit at the time was £1,000.

I cannot remember receiving a default notice.

I want to go about removing these three defaults from my account. I know this will be difficult, but I know it is possible.

Which grounds would you recommend for me to try to get these removed?

The Halifax/Lowell account is the most annoying because I don't even know who Lowell are! They apparently know own the debt. I want my default removed, and debt passed back to Halifax.

HSBC is for a minor £159. They never sent me a letter saying I would default.

Capital One I defaulted because of charges. Is there anything I can do to remove my default because charges caused me to go over limit?

Do I have a leg to stand on?

Let me know your thoughts, and thanks for your help! :D
