Hi Fizzipop,

I am in the same boat.Loads of debt,no chance of paying it back.

Now the best thing to do is have a chat with the national debt helpline first.

Explain the situation and tell them about you wanting to go bankrupt.

The cost of bankruptcy is £475.00.

Now you did send some cpr requests asking for your orginal agreement from your creditors. Now some may or may not be enforcable but if you dont know the procedure you could start a thread on the Debt Collection Industry thread.

Are you a homeowner?

How much do you owe?

Its your choice my brother went bankrupt in April of this year and he owed over £100,000.He feels now he can move on and not worry about bad debt.

My problem is raising the £475.00 for mine.It is scary prospect going bankrupt.

Have a chat with the debt line first.

Dont panic and if you ask for the bankrupt forms you can ask the Cab to help fill the forms in.

Womble:)

Hi Fizzipop,

If you have received a Copy of a CCA you now need to get it checked to see if the agreement is enforceable.

If you can scan and post a copy of the agreement on here with all personal details removed we will be able to check it for you.

If you are unsure how to post documents there is a guide on here..

Good luck,

Hi Thanks for responding. I'll scan it all in tomorrow and post it. Thanks again I was starting to panic.

Fizzi

No problem..:)

It may be of more help to you if you post your documents in the 'Debt Collection Industry' Forum as it is a lot busier than this one and you are more likely to get faster responses...

If for instance you have a cca for lloyds start a thread Fizzipop v LLoyds and all the LLoyds experts will flock in to help... we all have our own particular experiences and expertise etc and you may have to start a thread for each DCA/Bank but once it's done you'll get all the info you need on each respective problem.

Good luck,
