Just got back from court and was set-aside in 5 minutes.

The judge was totally friendly and didnt even bother with my case notes etc.

I had prepared beyond belief, and my research wasnt wasted as I can pass my knowledge on. ! YAY! !

Just like to say a massive thank you to all that have been my guiding stars over the ast two months! !

1st Credit are definitely having an awful expensive time..... has anyone actually counted the cost, they must be mad to go chasing people like this.

Its a great feeling of empowerment isn't it????

Hi there - wow what a lovely week, and thanks for your lovely messages. ready to tackle some more now.

Just wondering, can they do this again, issue a stat demand ???

Also.....should I continue paying my monthly instalment through payplan ?? was going to full and final them shortly, if i discontinue paying through payplan, will this go against me ???

wishing everyone a wonderful chrimbo and new year x x x

If they try issuing a stat demand again you should go straight back to the court and let them know they have breached the 'set aside' and are abusing the system.

If this is the same debt you have with Payplan you might have difficulty convincing Payplan to remove it, I'd only offer them 1/3rd Full and Final, asking for confirmation in writing of the following points...

1. The 'remainder' of the debt WILL NOT be sold to another company for collection at any time in the future.

2. They will report that the debt is paid to the CRAs and that they will cease processing information on you as there is no further requirement to do so

3. Should at any time they break the above two points you reserve the right to instigate court proceedings without referring back to them...

(worth trying point 3, might not agree to that)

Happy Crimbo to you too....
