Capital One And Orange Contract Defaults Removal Request.

Morning guys..

As a silent member, I’ve now decided to write here cos I seriously could do with your help please guys..

 

 

 

 

I’ve got 2 defaults from two companies.

• Orange Mobile phone- Dafaulted on 8/12/06-(I was having serious financial difficulties and i even phoned them to tell them this but they didn't care about-which is my own fault though)
  
• Capital One card- Defaulted on 7/7/06-(At the time, my acredit limit was £200 and the final bill that i cleared was £409).Can i start claiming my charges back back even though they were ages ago? 2006ish.
  

I cleared the outstanding debt (small) debt along time ago but I still have the default stamps on my Experian and Equifax report.

Now…I applied for capital one card and got it on 8/8/08.

I sent letters to both of them in May this year querying their charges and all that but I failed as they all had covered their behinds!

Now, I’d like to try a different approach by kindly asking them to remove the dafaults.

The thing is, with Capital one, as they recently gave me another card which I’ve been paying off right on time …is there any way that I could ask them to remove it?

As for Orange phone, do you guys think that if I approached them kindly this time promising to clear the administration fee-that they might help me?
