brought kp130 phone from asda for about 20 quid well its packed up now wont load up or anything right whos ass can i kick because i want a new phone at least my contact is with asda

Ok, no need to kick anyone's ass at this point, lol.

 

You need proof of purchase, receipt is best of course, but failing that, bank statement, credit card receipt, that kind of thing.

 

Asda's CS are usually pretty good as it goes, so take your phone back to them and explain the situation. Under SOGA 1979, your contract is with them, so don't let them tell you you need to contact manufacturers direct, that is not the case. If less than 6 months old, the item is deemed inherently faulty unless they can prove otherwise, and for the price, it is quite reasonable to expect a like for like replacement rather than repairs and I suspect it will be cheaper for them to just replace anyway.
