Hi guys,

I getting increasingly frustrated by the slow speed of the courts, I first submitted my claim on moneyclaim back on March 13th, heard nothing from courts for nearly 3 months despite me chasing them up was just told there was a backlog and would have to wait.

Then on the 10th June I received a CC of a letter that the courts had sent to Barclays giving them to prove that the charges were in fact fair. I know Barclays replied within the allotted time of 10 days, that was nearly a month ago now and I have still heard nothing. I rang the courts on Friday only to be told that the file is with the judge and, again, will just have to wait.

Does this seem slow to anyone else, is there anyone I can complain too?

Thanks for any info.

That does seem extremely slow. I take it you have been logging on to moneyclaim to check the progress. Have you received a copy of the banks defence?

BEFORE starting your claim read through the FAQ's and if there's something you aren't sure of then ask.

cheers for the reply,

Moneyclaim just says.......

"You are unable to take any further action online on this claim.

The Defendant disputes the whole amount you have claimed. Your claim cannot proceed online and will be transferred to the appropriate court for continuation. You will receive confirmation to where the claim has been transferred to shortly."

Recivied Barclays defence about 2 months ago.

Cheers

Did you receive an Allocation Questionnaire with the defence from Barclays? If you did have you filled it in and sent the fee (if applicable) back?

The case should now be with your local county court as moneyclaim transfers when a defence is submitted.

Why dont you pop down to your local court and have a word with them?

I am sure they could give you some idea as to how much longer you are going to be waiting.

Surely they will know the workload of cases and will obviously be able to tell you something.
