well good news everyone keep plugging away at your pursuits against your respective banks

13 days after the acknowledgement of my court action i recieved payment in full

from the halifax

didnt seem to get my court costs back so am still going to pursue them for that but hey ho

thats another one in the eye for them

Please could you tell me how you worked out the interest for the first letter. I know it is 8% at court stage but I am having trouble with the first letter. There are interest debited amounts on each of my monthly statements do i just add all these up.

hello scarlett

your not really entitled to claim the interest until you have to take the bank to court

but in the event you do have to take action you need to get this spreadsheet

input your own info into the appropriate coloumns and the formula will work it out for you

remember in the date section you need to input the date american style

i.e month/day/year

hope this helps

the final letter i recived stated that even though they dont agree with these actions it will cost them more to defend in court that whats being claimed.
