Anyone in the know on the costs front as i better get this in

How many hours for research will the court allow?

Anyone got a list of things i can claim for.

Can i claim cost now for the last hearing and the SJ or have i lost that?

Regards

Yes you can claim for the hearings, transport there and back, parking, printing, stationery. In fact any expense you've had, with receipts if possible. I would suggest something like 20 hours for research, although if you can itemise it you may be able to get more.

Inland revenue rate is 40p mile which I should think would be acceptable.

If you can breakdown time spent it will be harder to argue, so just be as accurate as you can, but keep it reasonable. I think somewhere around £300 is acceptable.

Cymruambyth,

Thanks im quite looking forward to giving them a hard time and if I lose well they cant have what i aint got.

And at the end of the day if they try forcing the sale of the house it will be round two as there is our disabled mother who lives here too and the house has been adapted for here so they will have a hard time getting that.

Hey pf:)

How's it going? Are you all ready to go and knock them on the head?

Can I just ask when you're due in court? - I'm in and out on Monday but if I'm available I'd love to come along for a bit of moral support:)
