These letters from BLS Collections who are in fact part of Lloyds TSB seem to be a ploy to get people to ring them.

I have had several such letters from them saying my payments are in arrears when they are and always have been up to date - where they make there mistake is that everytime they send a letter the balance has gone down by the payments that have been made.

If you look at the back of the envelopes when the letters arrive you will see a PO Box address in Brighton which is their consumer credit recovery office. as far as i know they have no address in Oxford where their letter headings say they are and all post is redirected to the Brighton address.
