A lot of people seem to think the Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank are only small organisations, but many people don't realise these are the wholly owned English and Scottish subsidiaries of National Australia Bank.

National Austalia Bank is known for its aggressive conduct.

Until recently the National Irish Bank was National Australia Bank's Irish arm

The Irish High Court ordered an inquiry into improper practices deployed by National Irish Bank

Blatant corruption was found and disqualification proceedings were commenced against several Directors, one of whom has now been disqualified from acting as a director for 10 years

Coverage of the Irish High Courts findings has been virtually non-existent in the English Press
