Try using this very user friendly one, courtesy of Mindzai (...v1.9)...

Bestest EVER spreadsheet, (cos it also allows U to calculate C.I. as well as s69 8%p.a. Interest), despite what caro may say!...lol

...Just change the date to what U want it to read!...;)

I'm not even going to rise to it Tilly. I must have wasted 12 months giving my views on CI, then explained them again the other day. If anyone wants to know them there is a search facility. My personal favourite spreadsheet is the inappropriately named advanced spreadheet, which is actually quite simple, and located in the Bank Templates Library, which is linked in my sig. Spreadsheets are in item 6 I believe.;)

If my memory serves me correctly caro...

When the different spreadsheets were 1st devised + put online, the consensus of opinion by those that understand the workings of the formulas etc, was that Mindzai's Spreadsheet was more mathmatically correct + was also much simpler to use.

I also understand that Vampiress herself, acknowledged it's all around suitability...:)

...hehe no fisty cuffs now guys while im gone:o :D
We have already agreed to disagree re: C.I. Claims for Newbies or those that don't want to Claim it TT...;)

Spreadsheets are a different matter + LESS controversial (...at least to 4 decimal places they are! )!!!...:p

...lol...:D

As a matter of fact I found the spreadsheet on Martin Lewis` site the easiest. and that only does the 8% interest, I suppose really it is to each his (or her) own. And Judges understand the 8% better !!! tongue00154kq.gif

What I like about the advanced one on CAG is that it includes a reasonable calculation for the overdraft interest relating to the charges, as well as the 8%. I'm not too familiar with the MSE stuff, and I'm not sure if his includes that. As you say, it's what's best for each person.
