Thanks to the guys here at the forum I have been made aware of this unlawful rip off that the banks are undertaking.

 

We have struggled financially for the last couple of years trying to hold down full time jobs and pay for child care. HSBC have not helped in the slightest for charging up to £120 per month for being overdrawn, (not excessively either).

 

Have just sent of my request for statements today as £100 per month for 4 years seems too much to ignore.

 

Many Many thanks for the wake up call guys, will keep you posted.

I have just received my first letter from HSBC stating that I must pay a £10.00 charge for my bank statements dating back 6 years. I guess this is fair enough as I dread to think of the size of the envelope they will have to send!
