  1. Had a letter from ZZPS 71 days after an alleged parking offence was committed. No PCN from Premier Parking Ltd at all (genuinely), would be grateful for any advice. Thanks. As far as I am aware Premier Parking Ltd would have to issue a Parking Charge Notice within 14 days for it to be considered legal. The only problem is the legislation states that the notice is presumed sent unless proven to the contrary, v.hard to prove a negative - but for certainty these notices should be sent out by recorded mail.... as my letters to ZZPS have been.
  2. Hello, This morning I received an email from ZZPS as follows: "Important Please Read Please contact ZZPS Limited in relation to a personal business matter. You can reply to this email, telephone us, or visit our websites. Email: customerservices@zzps.co.uk Websites: http://www.zzps.co.uk & http://www.ipaymypcn.net Telephone: +44(0)1932 918916 It is important that you make contact Regards Customer Services ZZPS Limited HASH(0x16302480)" There's no reference or any indication whatsoever of what this relates to, except for the "ipaymypcn" web address, which is enough to tell me this thread belongs in this forum. I haven't responded yet, and won't be phoning or emailing them. What would be a suitable written response?
  3. Hi, Appreciate some advice on my situation. I am the keeper and owner but was not the driver for the following situation which I have ignored totally upto now. Circumstances of the charge and correspondence to date February – driver parked at London underground car park run by NCP. Paid for ticket but did not park correctly within the marked bay so Parking charge notice issued for £100 reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. This PCN ignored. Forty days later I get the NTK letter from NCP which I don’t respond to. Thirty days later get letter from ZZPS stating the details of the parking and advising that I should now pay £160. This letter ignored. Twenty days later a further letter from ZZPS states that if the charge is not paid then they shall pass to WH and the charge will increase by £30 to £190 payable. This letter ignored. Forty days later get FORMAL LETTER OF CLAIM from WH stating that the balance is now £196 and if I do not pay within 14 days of this letter they will commence County Court proceedings. I am still within the 14 days of this letter and have made no response. So I am the keeper and owner but not the driver who I believe is the only party liable to pay the charge??. My choices as I see it are to either Continue to ignore. or Respond to WH letter stating that I was not the driver and they should seek the driver. I know who the driver is but am I obliged to disclose this?? Can I ask for a fee for disclosing this information?? Would like some advice on how each course of action might develop from here. Regards Brassica
  4. Hello everyone. Back in June, I received a PCN from Indigo via ZZPS for allegedly parking without payment. In fact I paid but the machine did not register; I appealed and subsequenctly received a cancellation notice from Indigo. I have now received another notice from ZZPS claiming the penalty is unpaid and current balance is £170, and stating they will continue to persue the debt. Should I ignore this and just let them do what they want to do until it gets to court, get involved in correspondence with them, or what? I am inclined to send them a copy of the cancellation, tell them to sort themselves out and go away, but would appreceite advice from those more knowledgable than I. Many thanks.
  5. dear all I have read this thread http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?440374-Capital2coast-PCN-Lewes-Clamform-received&p=5045522#post5045522 with interest as I am still lumbering on with so called debts from Sussex Security Solutions Ltd who issued PCN at Eastgate Wharf, Lewes in August 2016. Sussex Security Solutions Ltd being owned by the same dodgy dealer as One Parking Ltd (trading as Capital 2 Coast). Having appealed as standard to SSS I heard absolutely nothing, not even a letter to confirm my appeal had not been agreed. Then followed debt recovery letter from DRP in November 2016. Silence until June 2017 when I received a letter from the notorious ZZPS LTD and finally in July a letter from Wright Hassall solicitors acting on behalf of ZZPS acting on behalf of SSS!! I am just penning a letter to Wright Hassall as I am getting to the point of being tired and angry that I keep getting harassed by every parking conman/woman in the land. I didn't even park (as such) on the so called private land I wasn't trying to get away with free parking whilst I shopped. Merely picked up my daughter who was waiting on the pavement at that spot (it looked a safe place to collect stop and let her in the car rather than on the high street!!) I guess the reason for my rant/post is just to check there is someone out there who is still holding up the flag by not paying up. ..It feels a lonely battle and quite intimidating at times.
  6. 1 Date of the infringement 20/04/2017 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date] No PCN/NTK received (no change of address or other reasoning for NTK not being received) 3 Date received Letter from ZZPS received 04/07/2017 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? [y/n?] No PCN/NTK received 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? No PCN/NTK received (contacted ZZPS to inform them I was not aware of the infringement and wanted evidence to prove the allegation) 6 Have you appealed? {y/n?] post up you appeal] Not yet. I have contacted ZZPS to request they refer their claim back to their client and ask them to supply evidence Have you had a response? [Y/N?] post it up YES from ZZPS Good morning, Please be advised, we have been instructed by our client to pursue the outstanding balance. Our client confirms that this Parking Charge Notice has been issued correctly, all previous correspondence has been sent out and the correct procedure has been followed. We will not be referring this matter back to them. Upon reviewing our client's system, I can confirm that a Parking Charge Notice was sent, via post, on 22 May 2017, to the details provided to them by the DVLA. These are the same details we hold on our system. This site is private land. The landowner has employed our client to issue these Parking Charge Notices on their land. A motorist will be made aware of the terms and conditions of parking at the location by way of the signage located at the site. All of your client's signage is approved by the British Parking Association (BPA) and this site is audited regularly to ensure it complies with the BPA's Code of Practice. As advised above, we have been instructed by our client to pursue payment of the outstanding balance. Please arrange payment of this. I have placed the account on hold until 27 July 2017 to allow you time to make your payment, please refer to the reverse of our letters for payment methods available to you. In the absence of payment, the hold on this account will expire and the account will be left to progress accordingly, where further fees may be incurred. 7 Who is the parking company? One Parking Solution Ltd 8. Where exactly [carpark name and town] This information hasn't been provided although I have requested it. The information on the DCA letter states Plough Lane, London, sw19 8gt. This is a public highway to my knowledge and doesn't have parking spaces as it is a busy main road. The postcode and road name also don't match up when entered into google maps For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under. No but the BPA logo is present in their letter If you have received any other correspondence, please mention it here Only correspondence received is from ZZPS posted above. I should probably also add that I have no recollection of this event ever happening and the letter from zzps states that the time of issue was 20:57 and checking my calendar against that time and date I was at work. I have checked my clock card with HR and they confirm I clocked in for work at 20:34 on that date. I should add that I work around the corner from the vague location given on the DCA letter.
  7. Hi - My daughter received a ticket from Apcoa at a railway station. Although the photos in the accompanying letter shows that there is something stuck on the windscreen she swears blind that there was nothing there when she got back to her car. She had also just moved so the letter came through to us here. Rightly or wrongly she sent them a cheque for the £80 they were demanding. Further letters had arrived from ZZPS (the phoenix which arose from Roxburgh?) saying that this had been passed to them and that she now owed £140. She rang and said that it had been paid but they were their usual abusive selves and said that it hadn't and that they were going to come after her for the money. A letter then arrived from their pet solicitors Wright Hassall who claimed that she now owed them £176. She was really worried about this and again, rightly or wrongly, she paid them the £176. She then checked over her bank statements and the original cheque she wrote out to Apcoa had clearly been cashed. Where do we take this now? I feel that ZZPS and Wright Hassall have conned her out of money and that Apcoa have caused a load of distress by moving this parking charge to them in the first place despite cashing the cheque. Any advice would be gratefully received thank you.
  8. Afternoon! Really really hoping you guys can offer some advice. I have received a claim form from Northampton County Court Business Centre, SUM is for 664 inclusinve of costs. I have parked in a private "wasteland" car park, tucked away on the side of a building, subsequent to this i did receive PCN's however took local advice and one even from a police office to simply ignore. Having ignored these (first dated 03/10/2014) I have today received the claim letter along with a letter from the solicitors detailing the particlulars of claim. I wouild like to defend this case given that my job would be put in substantial jeapordy should this be awarded against me (work in financial services) Any advice - PLEASE!
