Hi All I am in the process of making a PPI claim myself to HSBC but do not have the complete documentation as it was a log time ago (2003/4) After altering a personal loan a few times to consolidate card debts with HSBC, I paid a total of £6686.65 in PPI. I did try claiming when unemployed in 2006 but it was rejected, the loan & PPI are now completely paid. The issue I have is I only have the initial credit agreements, not the T&C's and I can't even remember which branch it was completed in, I lived in London at the time & the credit agreement has my original branch details on it. I can't find any info about who to is liable as although HSBC sold it to me on several occasions, it was underwritten by Sun alliance....of which I have no details for. I am using forms downloaded from the Obudsman site, I believe I have a fair claim but it is starting to look a little pathetic due to a lack of info. I've read as much info as I can find on here but nothing relating to PPI by Sun Alliance via HSBC. Does anyone have any advice for dealing with this? Many thanks
