1. Hi All. The SIP and Euro carpark are both right next to each other. I bought a Sip ticket on my first day parking and parked in the euro car park side. Was parked here for 5 days. Made this mistake on the Monday. Then bought 4 Euro car park tickets for 15,16,17,18 of August. I have retained the ticket for all 5 days. It's a confusing area to park. The Euro car park is on the left of the big Sip car park. This is where I parked. Google maps location link: edit. won't let me paste link. 1 Date of the infringement (Date of event 14/08/2018) 2 Date on the NTK [this must have been received within 14 days from the 'offence' date] 04/08/2018 3 Date received. 2. Hello, My car lease company have received an invoice from Highview Parking which they have sent on to me, demanding £95 for staying in their carpark for 43 minutes. They initially offered a discount of £40 but by the time I received the letters from the lease company, the 14 days had expired. There is photographic evidence of me entering and leaving the car park. However, I used the car park to drop someone off at a police station opposite and returned again to collect them. I used the car park to turn around in as the signs stating that it was pay to park aren't visible until you get inside the car park. Do I have any grounds to appeal? Also my lease company state that if they get a further demand to pay, they will pay and charge me. 1 Date of the infringement 13/10/16 2 Date on the NTK 20/10/16 (received by lease company on 25/10/16, received by me on 5/11/16) 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? No 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? Yes - entering and leaving 6 Have you appealed? No 7 Who is the parking company? Highview Parking 8. Where exactly [carpark name and town] Gala Bingo, Salford
3. Hi, I have been issued a PCN for parking on a street round the corner from my home on Thursday while I went to pick up my lunch. (See photos below). The place I am parked previously used to have a yellow line all the way across the gate, now there are terminations to the single yellow either side of the gate. There is no sign on the gate saying parking is not allowed there. On what grounds have I been issued the PCN? How, as a motorist, am I to recognise this as a place where parking is not allowed? I assume it is to do with the dropped kerb perhaps? I have emailed the council asking and got the statement: "Yellow lines are enforceable from the centre of the carriageway to the back of the footway/start of the private land, any pavement, grass verses etc being classed as part of the public highway". I don't understand how this statement relates to where I was parked. Regards, Chris
