  1. I have just recieved a "Parking charge - final reminder" from Park with Ease. It refers to a period of parking dated July 2014 (3 years and 5 months ago) I ignored their begging letters back then and have heard nothing from them for over 3 years. Can they pursue this after all this time?
  2. Hi, I want to advise other parking on private land victims, that APNR LTD are issuing incorrect notice to keepers in an attempt to void your chance of appeal. This also makes them even more unenforceable. As reg. keeper I now have 7 tickets for my bike used by my son and parked on his parking place at his FLAT. He should have a paper permit put on his bike apparently. Rain, theft? Their Notice to Keeper does not give me evidence, right to appeal, same discount period or 28 days to appeal. It also increases in cost. The use of this notice is to avoid you contacting Poplar where they will be charged. They know they are wrong but hope that the public can be doped. This is same cowboys (ex clampers) who previously told appealant's not to bother with POPLAR its a waste of time or even that they would appeal on your behalf. Advice is to ignore They are being 'investigated for this' but its been several months now. BPA are also toothless and give legality to such companies to obtain your DVLA details.
  3. Hi I received the attached PCN from Park With Ease after a visit to Brockholes, Preston. I was aware of the free initial 20 minutes and did not think we had exceeded this. The 'offence' occurred on 01/10/14. The PCN is dated 04/11/14 (34 days later) The PCN arrived in my post on 07/11/14 (37 days after the offence). The charge seems excessive to me. Before I do something stupid, can thgis be enforced, and would I win an appeal?
  4. Dear All .Help needed to fight this if possible. Ive seen other posts on here relating to this company and this car park PNC 31.8.13 My stepson parked his car for 10mins while collecting a pizza after looking on this form most advice was to ignore 11.11.13 after some invoice's I took advice from the Form and wrote to tell them they would need to take this up with the Driver of the vehicle 15.11.13 ANPR wrote back with their photographs and stating that failing to disclose the driver details left the keeper responsible They also stated that if i felt we had a valid case to appeal we should write to them and they would provide us with full details for the independant appeals service (POPLA)..25.11.13 I wrote asking for an appeal number (buy return of post )which they haven't sent 4.12.13 we recd a claim form about taking my stepson to court (Northampton (CCBC) no claim no filled in or issue date , Sent by H&S Litigation services in London , Also a letter from H&S asking us to settle this by sending £175.. And a copy of an agreement between ANPR and Ann Lithgoe (i assume the owner of the land) , they also sent me a nice certificate to show they were members of the British Parking Association I'm a little concerned as most of the advice on the form seemed to say Ignore .. All help would be welcome Many thanks (sorry to go on )
  5. On 27 February this year I booked a test drive of a VW Beetle Cab at Preston Motor Parks. My health was very bad which I thought was as a result of a cold. I was unhappy with the deal they were offering. Unfortunately, I paid £100 deposit. The next day my health deteriorated and it was pneumonia. I e-mailed Preston Motor Parks and told them I wanted to cancel the car. I asked for my£100 deposit to be returned to me. They refused to reply to any of my e-mails even after threats of the small court. The paperwork given to me does not even have my personal details such as address, etc. I thought this would be a simple matter but I now know the world of cars is a minefield. Can I get my money back? Any help would be much appreciated Regards ladycoke
