my mother has been rushed into hospital and is in a coma, she was due to go on holiday on the21/04/09 but i had to telephone to cancel because she obviously cant go now, thomas cook have said you can only get refunded £257 of £588 which she has paid in full, under the circumstances is this correct.

B & Q Kitchen
laddie007 replied to blackbess2's topic in Retailers - High Street and On-line Stores Forums
i have also put a post on here regarding shaker style kitchen doors,i paid 6 grand for a buttermilk shaker style kitchen in june2008,after 9 weeks 7 of the doos were returned to the manufacturer because of bubbling lifting on the bottom inside corners ,they said it was due toexcess water running down the doors, shaker doors are just water traps, fortunately they changed them for free, beware dont spill water on them and dont have your kettle etc...under the wall cupboards. -
i had 96 sleeves of lambert butler seized at liverpool airport in 2004 went 2 court t get them back and lost,hm customs had a t break with the magistrates, which i witnessed you dont stand a chance,if by a remote chance you do overturn the seizure you will only get back th money you paid ,not the tobacco,it is upto you to prove there for personal use,not for them 3 proof otherwise, its a no win situation for you ...

the cupboards are nearest the sink........ just overspill from washing up............ the kitchen was fitted by professional fitter at a cost of £900.

i had a new kitchen fitted on the 1st of july 2008,shaker style ,buttermilk color, already 7 doors have blistered badly and the laminate is peeling back in 2 places on the insde of the cupboard base its obviously with some water what has run down the cupboard ,my argument is on a 5 grand kitchen that has been fitted for 11 weeks i dont think it is durable and the shaker style doors are just water traps, the doors are currently with the manufacturer while they dissect them 2 see how much water has gone in ,i have not had a flood but they look like i have ,any advice would be most appreciated has i think i may hava a battle on my hands..........

on tues 03-07-08 i went for my haircut at the barbers whilst getting it cut the barber says you better move your car as the police hve just pulled up and there doing everyone who parks on the zig zag ,it was only then that i realised id parked on it,i got up and went 2 move it id only been parked there for about 5 mins,i was unlocking the car when the officer told me 2 leave the car there ,i then went over to the officer,he said there is a zero tollerance for parking offences and it was an endorsable offence i said ok fair cop ididnt realise id parked on it, i said just stick it on the window and , ill finish getting my haircut and went 2 walk back in the barbers just has i was opening the shop door the officer grabbed me by the right wrist and said im arresting you for refusing to give details, i replied youv not asked me for any, what details do you want he said it doesnt matter now has we can get them at the nick,we then went 2 the police tation 7 miles away were i gave them my details and my photo was taken and the officer took me back 2 my car and wrote me a ticket . when i looked at where my car was the zig zag was badly worn and had 2 breaks in them one of them being 3 feet long were they had tatmacked over it,,,,,can i challenge this in court,
