I don't rule them out totally and have to admit to buying a laptop from them although their after sales service left alot to be desired. In the main tho' it's always worth checking other online stores.

The Scottish Executive is currently doing an online consultation on this very subject. I'm in a similar situation where I'm on Incapacity Benefit so therefore don't automatically qualify for free scripts. I have bought a pre-payment certificate while I wait to find out whether I'll qualify for exemption due to low income. If I do then I can reclaim the cost of the pre-payment cert. I bought mine at the chemist while I was collecting prescriptions (I don't think all chemists can do this). Had I had to pay for the scripts I was collecting it would have cost £45+. The 4 month pre-payment cert costs £34 odd. Lindsey

Renaults are particularly bad for tensioners and pulleys going so it is safer to err on the side of caution. They should be done at least every second belt change but manufacturers only ever give you the mileage they should be changed at not a time limit which is important because the belts like all rubber do perish. Why would you buy anything from PC World anyway? Their prices are extortionate compared to other online companies.

Renault Megane, depending on engine size 50-80 + VAT for belt & tensioner kit (OEM). Brake Discs 11-30 + VAT per side, Pads 14.50-42 depending on model and whether you wanted performance brakes or not. All prices quoted are from GSF (German, Swedish and French) motor factors. Lindsey

Loan Insurance payout

I've found all the loan paperwork but can't find any relating to the insurance, incidentally the Insurance company is Cardif Pinnacle who someone else has also posted about. -
I have recently lost my job due to illness and claimed on a payment protection policy on a loan. The insurance company are only paying the interest rate as ot was at the time the loan was taken out. Is this normal?

My local branch of RBS have always taken verbal authority to cancel DDs and haven't yet not cancelled one.

Hi, I'm going to try and get RBS to refund all my charges over the last 6 years. The question I have is, assuming they don't close my account, can I insist that they reinstate my switch card which was withdrawn after the last charges problem I had?
